Hungry...thirsty.
They cried out to the Lord and he delivered them.
Filling...satisfying.
Then they gave thanks.
Some sat in darkness in prison,
Rebelling...despising.
Then they cried out to the Lord and he delivered them.
Illuminating...freeing.
And they gave thanks.
Some were fools in anger,
Sinning...loathing.
And yet, when they cried out to the Lord, he delivered them.
Rescuing...healing.
And they gave Him thanks.
Others went out to sea - to war,
Sweating...fearing.
They cried out to the Lord and he delivered them.
Quieting...guiding.
And they remembered to give thanks.
Their ground dried up,
Dirty...dying.
But when they cried out to the Lord, he delivered them!
Washing...blessing.
And they REJOICED and gave Him thanks!
Give thanks! Give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His love...HIS love - endures forever!
